Local Sport

In Burnham-on-Crouch there are three sailing clubs for which the area is famous, two of which – The Royal Burnham Yacht Club and Royal Corinthian Yacht Club – have royal connections.
The local Sports Centre offers badminton, five-a-side football, a gym, bar and crèche plus other fitness classes and facilities with swimming facilities available in Southminster or Maldon.
There are a range of golf courses locally including Mayland, Burnham, Stow Maries and Creeksea.

The Burnham Ramblers play in the Essex Senior Football League and Southminster Football Club in the Mid Essex Premier League.
