DO you have a view on the Maldon district's loos? Public toilets are the subject of a new consultation being launched by Maldon District Council. A spokesman for the council revealed about £200,000 of taxpayers' cash is spent on the area's public conveniences every year.
So, to make sure the pennies are being spent wisely, a questionnaire has been put together as part of a review. Councillor Brenda Keighley, chairman of the council's community services committee, said "We urge you to give us your views on our loos so that we can ensure we are providing the best possible service to our residents and visitors." To participate, complete and return the questionnaire by 31st August. It is available online at www.maldon.gov.uk and in Southminster One Place, Burnham One Place and Libraries in Southminster and Burnham. |
