General Questions

Q : What is the best screen resolution & browser to view web 2.0 advanced websites like the Dengie Local ?

A : We at the Dengie Local have produced this website to work on many screen resolutions & browsers, however to get the most out of this website and all new web 2.0 sites make sure you have the most up to date available updates for your computer and upgrade older browsers to cope with the very best the WorldWideWeb has to offer.
We recommend using Internet Explorer 7.0 and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels for the very best results
.

Q : What is the benefit for me to register on the Dengie Local ? Can I post my views on the Forums ?

A : To be able to share your thoughts on the forums, you will need to register which is quick, easy & is found on multiple pages throughout the site situated within the login panel or you can click here to register.

As well as the forums we send out a regular newsletter with all the latest news, views and forthcoming events for the local area plus a few added extras which will be sent to your email address for you to browse at your leisure.

Q : I have already registered to post my views on the forums, do I need to register again to add my business listing on the business finder ? I would also like to rate and review a business / service, is this the same login as the business finder ?

A : Yes, you would need to register seperately on the business finder page to add your business / service ( this is where you would login too ) . Once registered you can add your listing and/or rate and review others.

This process of 2 logins (one for the forums and newsletter , one for the business listing and rate/review) helps us to be able to offer the unique service of you being able to update your own listings in the future free of charge.
